Marvellous Maths Day

Last week the whole school took part in a marvellous maths day. Mrs Longman began the day with an assembly and read the book ‘One is a snail, ten is a crab’. Following this, each class based their maths learning for the day on this topic.

In addition, children explored the theme, ‘where’s the maths in that?’ and thought about what maths look like in everyday life. Throughout the day, children were tasked with taking a photograph and explaining based on the theme, ‘what’s the math in that?’ Here are some of the fantastic discoveries:
