As part of the Enjoy, Learn and prosper (ELP) project, artist Julie Stimpson held lantern workshops with the Year 3 children and their adults. These lanterns will be part of the parade held at the Priory 1101 in Great Yarmouth between 2:30 and 3pm on Saturday 14th December. Once everyone is ready and it is dark enough, the parade will make its way to the Market Place, where Harbour Radio will lead Christmas songs and carols by the tree. The event will wrap up by 5pm, and children are able to take their lanterns home afterwards!
